Stephen Douglas has a private practice with offices both in Etobicoke and Burlington offering individual, marital and family therapy. Over 20 years experience Stephen has developed a specialization addressing anger and helping men identify and release their blocks to intimacy and vulnerability. He is available to both men and women for all issues of emotional difficulty, including anger, anxiety, depression, stress and addiction.
Stephen is a Certified Member of OACCPP, a member of the Board since 2006 and is currently serving as Treasurer. Stephen is also a founding member of the Gestalt Experiential Training Institute in Vancouver. Through his applied research at University of British Columbia, he developed a valuable model to improve our understanding of coping behavior in relational conflict. In 2010, Stephen received the President's Award for Distinguished Volunteer Service.
