Richard L. Glatt, M.A. (C)OACCPP

Psychoeducational Consultant

Richard Glatt, a provincially certified Psychoeducational Consultant, has been providing comprehensive and professional assessment, counselling and consultation services for children, adults, and families in many schools/universities and various centres in the Greater Ottawa (Eastern Ontario/Western Quebec) area since 1985. His post-secondary education was completed at Brock University, the University of Ottawa, and Carleton University where he obtained his M.A. degree. He is currently the Director of Psychoeducational Services and the Cognitive Performance Centre in Stittsville (Ottawa). The focus of his practice involves providing Psychoeducational (cognitive, academic and vocational) Assessment including learning and gifted testing; objective Computerized AD/HD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) Testing; Cognitive Skills Training; Behaviour Management and Parenting Support; and Therapeutic Counselling for stress/anxiety, interpersonal and mood/anger difficulties.

Richard has published in numerous professional national and international journals and magazines, has membership in and has made presentations to numerous professional organizations (i.e. ChADD, APA, LDA, ABC, CDSC), been designated as an "expert" by the courts, has conducted research for various national firms, consulted for governmental agencies, and was formerly the President of the Board of a local youth drug and alcohol treatment centre. Richard is very proud of the many accolades that he has received from the hundreds of parents, principals/V.P.’s, teachers, and other professionals with whom he has worked.
