Marriage & Family Therapist

Monique Peats is a private practioner in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. She has been in private practice as a Marriage & Family Therapist for over ten years. She has a Masters degrees in Theology & Counselling (MTS-PC) and Social Work (MSW). Monique's training and membership is with the College of Social Workers and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

Monique is also trained in Crisis Incidence Stress Management (CISM) which enables her to utilize this trauma training with both individuals and groups. This broad scope of training enables her to provide clients with an expansive range of expertise, perspective and skill from a holistic paradigmn. Her client population consists of couples, individuals, children, and families, presenting with depression, sexual abuse, PTSD, stress, life transitions, grief and relational issues.
