Thank you for considering becoming a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).
The goals of OACCPP are:
(a) to ensure the availability of competent mental health services and the accessibility to these services by the general public;
(b) to represent the professional interests of its membership both individually and collectively;
(c) to promote professional standards of ethical conduct;
(d) to provide a process for recognition and certification of unregulated practitioners in specialty areas of demonstrable competency; and
(e) to identify and address mental health issues on behalf of the membership to Government and the public.
OACCPP professionals hold diplomas and/or degrees in psychology, social work, counselling psychology or education and keep current in their chosen field through continuing education.

IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION
An administration fee of $45.00 is mandatory for new and rejoining members only and includes a Membership Wall Certificate with OACCPP’s corporate seal suitable for framing.
In order to complete your application, please send the following to OACCPP:
- Completed online membership application form
- Copy of undergraduate transcript (may submit photocopy)
- Copy of graduate transcripts or degrees (may submit photocopy)
- Up-to-date resume or CV
- The $45.00 administration fee (credit card payments may be made by calling the membership coordinator at 416-298-7333 ext. 201 or by Interac payment to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make the answer to your security question simple and specific to OACCPP (ex. "What is does the “a” in OACCPP stand for?" With the answer being “association”.
Documents can be sent to the OACCPP office by mail, email or fax. All documents and the administrative fee of $45 must be received before an application can be processed. The full membership fee must be received upon notice of approval before the membership process is completed.

The OACCPP membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st. Renewal payments are to be made on or before December 31st. Unpaid memberships after December 31st will incurr a late fee of $25 and any unpaid membership cancelled as of February 28th.
To become a certified member of the OACCPP you must first apply and be accepted membership.
