Leslie enjoys working in multiple capacities as psychotherapist, facilitator of learning, and initiator of change in clinical practice. Her therapy experience includes adults and adolescents, aiding them in a broad range of relationship issues including conflict, grief, role and career transition, traumatic stress and social skill building. Leslie has extensive experience in women’s mental health issues, including pregnancy and postpartum emotional challenges.
In addition to her therapy practice, Leslie has a proven record of custom presentations for a wide variety of health professionals in small- and large-group formats. She has facilitated communication- and motivational interviewing skills for health care professionals including executives in the health care sector. Leslie enjoys leading seminars and providing supervision to graduate and postgraduate learners in Mental Health Counselling and Psychiatry.
