Body & Movement focused Expressive Arts Therapy

I believe our bodies have an inherent wisdom that can lead us towards insight and healing. I incorporate Expressive Arts Therapy with 20 years of experience in professional dance to create a body and movement based style of therapy. I work with youth and adults helping them to break through patterns of anxiety, stress, crisis and depression. My work also includes assistance with life-transitions, loss, the effects of trauma and a desire to become more embodied. I believe that suffering is often related to challenges in being able to imagine a way through. I hope to offer my clients creative ways to imagine a path through their challenges using body-based knowledge as a guide. I work with individuals from all walks of life including business people and artists. My practice is LGBT friendly and accessible to people with disabilities. The setting is a home dance studio with a sprung floor in a quiet setting in the Yonge and Eglinton area (10 min walk from sub).
