Bob has 35 years of experience in the mental health field as a Social Work therapist, a Family Court Social Worker, a Pastor, Hospital Chaplain, University Professor & a Clinical Pastoral Care Education teacher with the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education. He is a Certified Group Psychotherapist with the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association, a Certified member of the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice & Education and a Certified member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists & Psychotherapists.

His practice is located at Ripley & District Medical Centre where he provides general assistance to individuals and families. His current focus is on the development of Residential Therapy for individuals, families and groups provided at a retreat centre on the Eastern shore of Lake Huron. His specialty is providing assistance in the areas of trauma and grief therapy. A future project will be to utilize modern technology to provide distance therapy in private homes and offices through the medium of Web-cam.

Although Bob's professional and personal life reflects a distinctive Christian flavor, he serves his clients within the boundaries and perspectives of their own cultural or religious philosophies. With his wide professional experience in the spiritual, medical, legal, psychiatric and social work arenas, Bob brings a wealth of world view perspectives to his clients.
